Foods you should eat to help boost sperm count
1. Brazil Nuts
Brazil nuts are one of the best sources of selenium as well as healthy fats. However, try to eat in moderation as brazil nuts are also fairly calorie dense!
2. Fenugreek
Fenugreek is a very well known herb with a proven record of improving sperm health and quality significantly. It may sound like a load of mumbo-jumbo daft food but studies have shown that fenugreek (usually taken as a supplement) has a direct effect on male fertility. It is a herb in the wild but the most common, cheapest and convenient way is to take as a supplement to your existing diet.

3. Walnuts

Kill two birds with one stone by having both partners eat oysters on an evening where you want to have sex. Chicken eggs are chock full of Vitamin E and fats to boost sperm count and as a valuable source of protein on top that. It’s also relatively easy to fit eggs into anyone’s diet at any stage of the day – omelets, poached eggs, fried eggs, eggs Benedict and boiled eggs are ways you can consume them. 7. Strawberries
A good source of vitamin c and natural sugars, strawberries can provide a good source of energy as well as sperm boosting minerals. Can be enjoyed as a solo snack, an addition to your morning porridge or with your yoghurt. Drinking smoothies with strawberries can be a convenience but you may miss out some important fibre.

12. Spinach
Spinach is a fantastic source of folic acid which isn’t present in that many every day foods. Many leafy vegetables contain folic acid but it’s spinach which tops our list as it’s generally the tastiest, cheapest and easiest to fit in a meal. Add spinach to your sandwich or salad or even as a side to your regular meal. 15. Oily Fish
Oily fish such as mackerel, sardines, cod, salmon are a fantastic source of omega-3 fats plus they’re super rich in protein and very low in fat. Oily fish is quite easy to fit into a normal and balanced diet along with steamed veg and potatoes. Don’t overdo the fish though as many can contain mercury which can cause problems in large quantities. 1-2 meals a week would be an ideal target.
16. Avocado
Many people will tell you that avocados are superfoods and perhaps they’re right. Rich in healthy fats and vitamin E avocados help to produce healthy and hardy sperm to help them along their journey to the egg. Avocados can be enjoyed on their own or as an addition in sandwiches or spread on toast.
17. Dark Chocolate

18. Asparagus
We talk about dark green vegetables were a great source of vitamins and minerals and asparagus is right at the top of this list. Super rich in vitamin C and nutrient dense in general, asparagus can instantly make a meal super healthy. We recommend roasted asparagus with some meat or poultry and some potatoes. 21. Lean, red meat
